Each year consists of new opportunities, challenges, and accomplishments. PK Electrical is overjoyed with the growth we have experienced over the last year, both professionally, and personally. As we approach 2020, we’d like to share some of the highlights from 2019!

2019 Zweig Hot Firm AwardsWe Worked Hard

Our engineers, designers, and drafters have worked diligently on approximately 200 projects across both offices. We take pride in all of the projects that we have had the opportunity to work on. With each project comes its own unique challenges, but nothing that we couldn’t overcome. Our team has also attended various continuing education and industry events in Nevada, California, and Colorado. We strive to provide our clients with the most up-to-date information and designs. This would not happen without our desire to provide our employees with as many skill development opportunities as possible. Providing our employees with the tools necessary to succeed enables us to do the same for our clients.

Thanks to our dedicated clients and the hard work from our amazing team, our electrical engineering company placed #85 on Zweig’s Hot Firm List for 2019. This list recognizes the 100 fastest-growing A/E/C firms in the United States and Canada. We have been fortunate to be placed on this list four separate times, ranking higher each time.

We Moved

Not only have we experienced growth in our number of clients and the size of our projects, but we have also experienced growth within our firm. So much in fact, that we have outgrown our old office! It has been an adventure trying to find a new office, and we’re very happy that we did! While it has been an adjustment, we are happy to be able to accommodate our staff and new hires. Our new office is located at 4601 DTC Boulevard, Suite 740, Denver, Colorado 80237.

PK ElectricalWe Had Fun

At PK Electrical, we don’t believe that a job should be all work and no play. From employee appreciation events to birthday celebrations, we love to keep things FUN! This year has been filled with tons of events including, the annual Rib Cook-Off, Rockies games, Aces games, and trivia nights, just to name a few! If you are interested in working for PK Electrical, head to our Careers page to see our available positions in the Reno and Denver offices.

We Focused on Team Building

Our electrical engineering company strives to create a collaborative and engaging environment across both of our offices. Twice a year we participate in team alignment events. At alignments, we focus on developing our teamwork and problem-solving skills, while also enabling our team to create deeper professional and personal bonds between the offices. This year’s alignment took place in Las Vegas while our realignment was held in Lake Tahoe! Check out our blog to learn more about our Las Vegas alignment.

PK ElectricalWe Gave Back to Our Community

PK Electrical is proud to be a part of our community and love to give back as often as possible. Last year, our Reno office adopted Wheatland Park; this year we participated in three separate park cleanups, as well as participated in KTMB’s Christmas Tree Recycling Program. The recycling program aims to reduce the dumping of Christmas trees into landfills and community spaces; this reduces the risk of fire in summer months. The Denver office also took strides in helping their community! They participated in One Warm Coat’s drive, took a Saturday shift at the Food Bank of the Rockies, and participated in the cleanup of Cesar Chavez Park.

We’re Looking Forward to Another Great Year!

We would like to thank our staff and clients for an incredible year. With 2020 just around the corner, we look forward to the opportunities to come. If you are interested in working with PK Electrical, connect with us today!
